Abstract: In order to realize the digitized description and the automatic identification of helminth eggs in domestic animal feces, the Pseudo-Jacobi-Fourier Moments were used in this study for describing and identifying 7 kinds of helminth eggs, such as F. hepatica egg, H. contortus egg and B. trigonocephalum egg, etc. The results showed that the microscopic characteristics of these 7 kinds of helminth eggs were successfully digitally described and identified by PseudoJacobiFourier Moments. The reconstructed images were clear enough to be identified and contained almost all the main information of original images of helminth eggs. The average identification rate was reached as high as 96.8%。
