Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica is an open access journal, all articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
Peer Review
Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica operates a single anonymized review process under responsibility of Editorial Board of Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.
User Rights
Permitted third party reuse is defined by the following user license: Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivs (CC BY-NC-ND). This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, and further does not permit distribution of the article if it is changed or edited in any way. Author Rights
For open access publishing, this journal uses a Copyright Transfer Agreement. Authors will transfer copyright to Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica, but will have the right to share their article in the same ways permitted to third parties under the relevant user license (e.g. stored in institutional repository), as well as certain scholarly usage rights.
Article Processing Charge
To provide open access, Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica has an open access fee (also known as an article publishing charge, APC) which needs to be paid by the authors or by their research funder or institution. For accepted manuscripts should pay RMB 450 yuan for each printed page (apply to the first nine pages) and 600 yuan for each printed page (apply to the pages from the 10th one), additional 1000 yuan for color page, and 450 yuan as the reviewing fee for each paper.
