microRNAs Expression in Adult Alpaca Skin

Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of miRNAs abundance in adult alpaca skin and to discuss the role of miRNAs in skin and hair follicle. In the study, the level of miRNA abundance was investigated in alpaca adult skin by multi-species microarray screen. The result showed that expression of a total of 20 miRNAs was detected using the microarray screen in all samples. Based on the study, it was concluded that the miRNAs had important role in update, growth and development of skin and hair follicle.
