Abstract: Based the allele frequencies of 19 microsatellite loci, the accuracy of Nei’s standard genetic distance among 4 Chinese native goats were analysed at 3,6,9,12 and 15 microsatellite locus levels. The results indicated that :with the numbers of the loci increased, the accuracy of genetic distance estimation increased too.The result of “t” test was that there was remarkable difference between every two levels except 6 and 3.When the experiment was designed to analyse genetic relationship between different breed ,small number should not be used.
