Abstract: Gene frequency, polymorphism information contents, number of effective alleles and heterozygosity were analysed in Xiangdong black goat, Nanjiang yellow goat, Guizhou black goat, Bore goat by using microsatellite markers BMS2508.The results revealed polymorphism content information and number of effective alleles and heterozygosity for BMS2508 in those 4 goat breeds were 0.804 7,5.316 3,0.810 1; 0.689 4,4.404 9,0.700 6; 0.691 0,3.466 3,0.711 4; 0.768 8,4.444 9,0.775 0 respectively. It could be concluded, they were in genetic polymorphism at the microsatellite locus BMS2508. So microsatellite marker BMS2508 could be applied to genetic diversity evaluation in goat breeds . It was also a basis research on relationship between polymorphisms of the microsatellite locus and reproduction performance.
