雏鸡投射向圆核的SP/IPS核细胞形态研究

Morphological Studies on the Neurons in Nuclei SP/IPS Projecting to Nucleus Rotundus in Chicks

摘要: 顶盖前下核/顶盖前间下核(Nucleus subpretectalis / nucleus interstitopretectalis-subpretectalis, SP/IPS核)向圆核的投射是鸟类视觉信息传导通路的一个重要组成部分。本试验使用羰花青荧光染料DiI逆向神经标记技术研究了这些投射向圆核的SP/IPS细胞(S细胞)的形态特征。根据树突的数量及分枝情况,标记出的S细胞可分为Ⅰ型细胞和Ⅱ型细胞,然后根据次级树突的数量又分别将这2种细胞分为简单型和复杂型2种。形态学测量表明,Ⅰ型细胞的胞体大小、面积均小于Ⅱ型细胞,其数目也略少。

Abstract: The projection from nucleus subpre-tectalis/nucleus interstito-pretectalissubpretectalis (SP/IPS) to nucleus rotundus (Rt) is an important part of avian visual pathway. To reveal the morphological features of SP/IPS cells (S cells) which project to Rt, they were retrogradely labeled with cyanine perchlorate DiI in chicks. Two different types of neurons, “type Ⅰ cells” and “type Ⅱ cells” were identified. Based on the amount of the secondary dendrites, these cells were further divided into simple and complex cells, respectively.Morphological analysis indicated that the type I cells were smaller and fewer than type Ⅱcells.
